Israel & Petra, Jordan
Day 1:
Overnight flight to Tel Aviv.
Day 2:
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, meeting and assistance by Coral Travel & Tours representative inside the terminal. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
After an Israeli breakfast we start our day with a visit to Jaffa, known in the bible as Joppa, and considered the world’s oldest port and the place where the prophet Jonah set sail for Tarshish. Travel via the Sharon Plain to Caesarea, the seat of the Roman Procurator of the Judea at the time of Christ and the place St. Peter converted the centurion Cornelius (Acts 10:24). Explore the Roman Theater and the Aqueduct and view the ruins of Roman, Byzantine and Crusader times. Continue to Mt. Carmel, to the “Mukhraka,” the site where Elijah challenged and defeated the 450 prophets of Baal (King 18:20). On to Nazareth Village in Nazareth. Continue to Mt. Tabor. Drive to the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4:
The day starts with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Capernaum, the town where Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth. View the remains of the ancient synagogue in which he may have preached and the House of Peter. Continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. The next stop will be St. Peter’s Primacy. We'll end the day at Kibbutz Ginossar to view the "ancient boat" believed to be from 2,000 years ago.

Day 5:
After breakfast leave the Sea of Galilee, and drive to Bet She’an. Recent excavations have unveiled the impressive ruins of the country's largest city from the Roman and Byzantine periods, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 AD. Cross via Sheik Hussein Bridge to Jordan. On your way to Petra visit Jerash, Madaba & Mt. Nebo.

Day 6:
Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing tour of Petra, the Red Rose City, and the legacy of the Nebataeans. Walk thru the siq from the main entrance. Visit its most famous monument, the Treasury with its towering façade, a 3,000 seat Theatre from the 1st century AD, a Palace Tomb in the Roman style, and a gigantic 1st century Deir (monastery). Atop Mount Aaron view a 13th century Shrine built by the Mamluk Sultan. View the majesty of Petra when the sun reflects the warm tones of the multicolored stones that make up this historical city.

Day 7:
After breakfast return to Israel via the Southern Border in Taba. On the way to the Dead Sea visit Tel Arad and Massada, the site of the most dramatic act in the Jewish history. Ascend Massada by cable car. Explore the ancient excavation of Herod's Palaces, bathhouse, the storerooms, the ramp and the oldest synagogue in the world.
Dinner and overnight: Hotel at the Dead Sea.
Day 8:
Morning enjoy the facilities of your hotel at the Dead Sea. Late morning leave the Dead Sea. Afternoon, visit Ein Gedi and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. We'll ascend to Jerusalem and pass the traditional site of the Inn of the Good Samaritan.

Day 9:
In the Old City, we will first visit the new excavations of David’s City, then the Western Wall to observe Judaism’s holiest shrine and see some Jewish bar mitzvahs in progress; continue to the Rabbinical Tunnel. Proceed to the Temple Mount, and view the Dome of the Rock and the El Aqsa Mosque, which are tied to sacred and secular history. We will exit the Holy Mount on the north to visit the Pools of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne, a fine example of crusader architecture. There will also be time spent in the Muslim and Christian quarters before visiting the major shrine of Christendom—the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Heziakah Tunnel.

Day 10:
Today we will visit sites that help us focus on the last 24 hours of our Savior’s mortal ministry. We will begin with a visit to the traditional Upper Room to review the sacred events of the Last Supper, where Jesus taught and prepared the Twelve for His departure, and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Next visit Gethsemane—where the great atoning sacrifice took place as well as the arrest of Jesus. After lunch, visit Golgotha, where He was crucified, and the Garden Tomb to discuss the burial and resurrection of Christ. In the evening we will have our Farewell Dinner.
Overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 11:
Transfer to the airport for your early morning flight home. Arrive USA the same day.
