DAY 2 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2020

AMMAN
Arrive at Amman International Airport. You will be met and assisted by the Jordanian travel agency representative and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Amman.

DAY 3 – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2020

PETRA / MADABA / MT. NEBO / WADI MUJIB
Depart Amman and drive along the King’s Highway. Stop at Madaba to see the oldest map of the Holy Land, one of the preserved mosaics on the Door of Saint George’s Church. Continue to Mt. Nebo, overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Through the  scenic canyons of Wadi Mujib reach the Crusader Castle of Kerak. Drive to Petra. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Petra.

DAY 4 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2020

PETRA / AQABA
Today you will explore the dramatic antiquities of Petra, the soul stirring, rose-red city including Biblical teachings. Visit the tombs, temples, majestic monuments, Roman theaters, burial chambers and mysterious caves. In the early afternoon, depart Petra and drive to Aqaba. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Aqaba.

DAY 5 – MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2020

CROSS OVER TO ISRAEL / TIMNA PARK / JERUSALEM
After breakfast visit the colorful market in the city of Aqaba. Afterward depart Aqaba and cross into Israel. Meet your Israeli guide and drive to Jerusalem to start your the next leg of your tour. Visit the Timna Park nature reserve which is also the site of King Solomon’s ancient copper mine. Stop for a camel ride in the desert including a Biblical meal. Continue to Jerusalem and stop at  Mt. Scopus for Shehecheyanu blessing. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 6 – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2020

JERUSALEM / MT. OF OLIVES / GETHSEMANE / GARDEN TOMB

In the morning ascend the Mt. of Olives for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Way and descend to the Garden of    Gethsemane where Jesus spent the last night before he was arrested. Enter the Old City and visit the Pools of Bethesda. Continue along the Via Dolorosa and ascend the roof of the Austrian Hospice for a bird’s eye view of the complex overlapping of quarters,     neighborhoods, cultures and religions. Continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Your last stop will be a tour of the Garden Tomb. Dinner: Hotel in Jerusalem. After dinner attend the Light and Sound Show at the David Tower Museum.  Overnight:  Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 7 – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2020

JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM
One Mountain Three Religions: take an interdenominational search through the traditional burial site of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and a mosque, all in one building. Then you will have a tour of the Old City that will include the following sites:
  • Walk along the roof tops of the Old City
  • The Cardo, a Byzantine street that is now the World’s oldest shopping arcade
  • The Hurva Square, the central square of the Jewish Quarter
  • The Western Wall
  • The Rabbinical Tunnel
In the afternoon, drive to Bethlehem, site of the birth of Jesus and the Church of Nativity. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 8 – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2020

JERUSALEM / MT. MORIAH / ISRAEL MUSEUM / YAD VASHEM
The day starts with a drive to Mt. Moriah. Walk up to the Temple site and see the area of the Dome of the Rock and El Aqsa Mosque. Then drive to the western side of the city and visit the Israel Museum that hosts the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept and visit the Holy Land walk-around model.  Visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum. You will end the visit with a memorial  service at the Avenue of Righteous. On your way back to the hotel stop at Machne Yehuda market. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 9 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2020

MASADA / QUMRAN / EIN GEDI / JERUSALEM
After breakfast drive to visit Masada the site of the most dramatic act in Jewish historyAscend by cable car. Explore the ancient excavations of Herod’s palaces, the bathhouse, the storerooms, the ramp, and the oldest synagogue in the world. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, an oasis on the Dead Sea shore and the site where David hid from King Saul (First Samuel 24: 1-23). A walk around the park confirms that Ein Gedi is one of the most beautiful reservations in the world. Here you will also have an opportunity to enjoy the local spa pampering mud treatment. Visit Qumran, where the 2000-year-old Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2020

BEIT SHEARIM / MEGIDDO / NAZARETH / SEA OF GALILEE
Depart Jerusalem and drive to Beit Shearim, site of an ancient Jewish necropolis and the grave of important codifiers of the Jewish law during the Talmudic period. Continue to Megiddo, the fortress city of King Solomon, later built upon by King Ahab. The books of Daniel and Revelations will come alive as we study about the final Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16: 14-19).  Then visit  Nazareth, the home of Mary and Joseph. Pass Mary’s well and visit the Church of the Annunciation. You will also visit Nazareth Village. On your way to the Sea of Galilee you will also pass Cana of Galilee. End the day at Yardenit, the Baptismal Center on the Jordan River in Israel, where you will have an opportunity to be baptized. Dinner and overnight: Kibbutz Guest House.

DAY 11 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2020

SEA OF GALILEE / GOLAN HEIGHTS
The day starts with a drive to the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. See the ruins of Capernaum, the town where Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth. For lunch you will have an opportunity to sample St. Peter’s Fish. After a boat ride, drive to Tabgha where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish took place. Dinner and overnight: Kibbutz Guest House.

DAY 12 – MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2020

CAESAREA / TEL AVIV
Depart the Sea of Galilee and drive to visit Caesarea, the seat of the Roman Procurator of Judea at the time of the Christ, and the site where Peter converted the centurion Cornelius. This fortified harbor city was built 2000 years ago by King Herod the Great. View the ruins of Roman, Byzantine and Crusader times. Explore the Roman Theater and the Aqueducts. Drive along the coastal road to Jaffa. Jaffa is known in the Bible as Joppa and is considered the world’s oldest port and the place where the prophet Jonah set sail for Tarshish. Jaffa is also associated with the deeds of Apostle Peter.  Drive to Tel Aviv. Stop at Rabin Memorial and Rabin Square, named after Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who was assassinated here. Farewell dinner. Overnight: Hotel in Tel Aviv.

DAY 13 – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2020

TEL AVIV – USA
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA. Return home filled with a treasury of memories for a lifetime!

A deposit of $350.00 per person, along with a completed registration form, is required to ensure your space on this tour.

Deposits and Payments
A deposit of $350.00 is required with each reservation to guarantee booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. All checks should be made payable to Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd.

Tour Arrangements
Air – Air arrangements are included in most group tours. Air is available to individual travelers upon request.
Land – All packages including overnight hotel stays are quoted based upon double occupancy sharing a twin or double room with private facilities. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. does not arrange sharing for individual travelers. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. reserves the right to substitute hotels based upon availability when necessary. Sightseeing and entrance fees are included as per itinerary. Individual passengers and passengers arriving independently from a scheduled group are responsible for their own transfers.

Not Included
Gratuities, airport taxes and transfers (unless specifically included in certain group tours), optional tours, charges for passports, vaccinations and inoculations, excess baggage charges, accident, trip cancellation and baggage insurance, telephone and cable charges, laundry, meals not specified in the itinerary, liquor, items of a personal nature and any items not specifically listed as included.

Passports/Visa
You will be required to provide Coral Travel & Tours with a copy of your passport with final payment. Please Note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date not less than 6 months after your date of arrival in Israel. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the United States traveling to Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. For other destinations please contact Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. Coral Travel & Tours does NOT process visa applications. No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel. Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.

Fuel Surcharge
Please note fuel surcharges are set by the airline and Coral Travel & Tours has no control over nor receives advance notice of changes. Due to fluctuating global oil prices, the fee may change. The airline will only guarantee the fee at time of ticketing. If the airline imposes an increase, the difference will be the responsibility of each traveler and will be collected prior to departure.

Baggage
Suitcases: 1 per person, not to exceed 50 lbs. for 1 bag. Each can measure up to 62 linear inches (length + height + width). Carry On Luggage: 1 per person, not to exceed 11 lbs. Each can measure up to 45 linear inches (length + height + width).

Deviations
Any change in the basic program will result in the charge of $150 per change per person plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.
