DAY 1 – TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29

USA / TEL AVIV

Flight from USA to Tel-Aviv.


DAY 2 – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30

ARRIVAL / JAFFA / TEL AVIV

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv where your Coral representative will be waiting to greet and assist you inside the terminal. Meet your guide and drive to Jaffa. Jaffa, considered one of the oldest port cities in the world is known as Joppa in the bible, the place where the prophet Jonah set sail for Tarshish. Jaffa is also associated with the deeds of the Apostle Peter. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.


DAY 3 – THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1

CAESAREA / MOUNT CARMEL / MEGIDDO / SEA OF GALILEE

After a delicious Israeli breakfast travel via the Sharon plain to Caesarea Maritime.      Caesarea is the place Peter led the first Gentiles to salvation (Acts 10:24), as well as the location of many New Testament stories. Explore the Roman theater and the aqueduct and view the ruins of Roman, Byzantine and Crusader times. Continue to Mt. Carmel, to the “Mukhraka”, the site where Elijah challenged and defeated the 450 prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Drive to Megiddo, the fortress city of King Solomon, later built upon by King Ahab. The books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we study about the the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:14-19). Continue on to Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, and through the city of Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle (John 2: 1-11). Drive to Tiberias which is located right on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Tiberias.


DAY 4 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2

TEL DAN / CAESAREA PHILIPPI / GOLAN HEIGHTS / SEA OF GALILEE

After breakfast drive to Tel Dan, an important biblical city and a breathtaking nature reserve. Continue to Banias, the site of ancient Caesarea Philippi. It is here that Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus (Matthew 16:13). Drive up Mount Hermon, where Jesus transfigured (Matthew 17:1-8). Continue on to Nimrod’s Castle, a medieval fortress perched high on the mountain. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Golan Heights from Mt. Bental, where you’ll learn about the recent wars of Israel. End the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Tiberias.


DAY 5 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3

MOUNT OF BEATITUDES / CAPERNAUM / BETHSAIDA / TIBERIAS

The day begins with a drive to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the  Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12). Afterward, visit Capernaum, the town Jesus made his home after leaving NazarethCapernaum is the place where Jesus recruited the first of His disciples (Matthew 4:13Luke 4:31-37Matthew 8:14-17Mark 2:1-12Matthew 8:5-13Mark 5:21-43Matthew 11:23-24). Then, visit the excavation of the ancient synagogue and the house of Peter. Continue to the newly dug site of Bethsaida, which is the site of the feeding of the 5000. Continue on to Kursi, where Jesus cast out demons from a man and allowed them to enter a herd of pigs. We’ll end the day at the Jordan River with an opportunity to be baptized (optional). Dinner and overnight:  Hotel in Tiberias.


DAY 6 – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4

EIN HAROD / BET SHE’AN / QSAR AL-YAHUD / DEAD SEA

This morning depart the Sea of Galilee and drive to Ein Harod, otherwise known as Gideon’s Spring and the story of Gideon (Judges 7: 1-25). Continue to Bet She’an where recent excavations have disclosed the impressive ruins of the country’s largest city in the Roman and Byzantine periods which was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 AD. Continue through the Jordan Valley past Jericho, the world’s oldest walled city. This was the first city taken by Joshua when the Hebrews invaded Canaan. It was also the site of the Mount of Temptation (Mark 1:13). Stop at Qasr al-Yehud, the baptismal site where Jesus was baptized by John. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a “float” at the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight: Hotel at the Dead Sea.


 DAY 7 – MONDAY, DECEMBER 5

MASADA / EIN GEDI / QUMRAN / JERUSALEM

Drive to Masada, the site of the most dramatic act in Jewish History. Explore the ancient excavation of Herod’s Palaces, the bathhouse, the storerooms, the seige ramp, and the oldest synagogue in the world. Continue to Ein Gedi, an aasis on the Dead Sea shore. Near the 200-meter-high waterfall is a cave where David had his famous meeting with King Saul (First Samuel 24: 1-23). A walk around the reservation confirms that Ein Gedi is one of the most beautiful reservations in the worldVisit Qumran, where the 2000-year-old Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then we’ll drive up to Jerusalem in the traditional way and view the city from Mt. Scopus. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.


 DAY 8 – TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6

MOUNT OF OLIVES / GETHSEMANE / VALLEY OF ELAH / BET SHEMESH

After breakfast ascend the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24:3Luke 21:37) for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Way to the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46Luke 22:39-45Mark 14:32-42) where Jesus prayed right before he was arrested. Then we’ll drive outside of Jerusalem down to the Valley of Elah, where David fought Goliath. Visit Bet Shemesh, an important biblical city. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.


 DAY 9 – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7

JERUSALEM

After breakfast drive to Mt Moriah (Luke 2:46-48, John, 8:1-11, Mark 13:1-2Matthew 27:51). Visit the Temple Mount and view the Dome of the Rock and the El Aqsa Mosque. Visit St. Anne’s Church, which is a fine example of Crusader architecture, and the Pools of Bethesda. Walk to the front of the Eastern Gate. Continue to the Western Wall, one of the last remnants of the second Jewish Temple. Visit the Davidson Center (Southern Wall excavation), and Temple Institute. After dinner at the hotel visit the Rabbinical Tunnel. Overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.


 DAY 10 – THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8

CITY OF DAVID / POOL OF SILOAM / LEISURE TIME

After breakfast visit Mt. Ophel and the original City of David, where you’ll see ruins of King David’s ancient palace. See the Gihon Spring, and walk through the Canaanite Tunnel down to the Pool of Siloam. Continue to the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book (where some of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Bar Kokhva letters are exhibited) and the Holy Land model. You’ll have the rest of the day free  – you can shop and enjoy leisure time in a great neighborhood of Jerusalem. Dinner and Overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.


 DAY 11 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9

YAD VASHEM / HOUSE OF CAIAPHAS / GARDEN TOMB

After breakfast visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. Drive to Mount Zion and visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas. This is the place where Peter denied the Lord three times. End the day at Golgotha and the Garden Tomb, where significant    archaeological evidence points to this as being the site where Jesus was crucified, buried and rose again. Then we’ll have our Farewell Dinner. Late check out from hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.


 DAY 12 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10
JERUSALEM / DEPARTURE

Over night flight back to Los Angeles. Arrive the same day.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposits and Payments for the Victory Calvary Chapel 2022 Israel Tour

A deposit of $350.00 is required with each reservation to guarantee booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. All checks should be made payable to Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd.

Tour Arrangements

Air –  Air arrangements are included in most group tours. Air is available to individual travelers upon request.

Land –  All packages including overnight hotel stays are quoted based upon double occupancy sharing a twin or double room with private facilities. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. does not arrange sharing for individual travelers. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. reserves the right to substitute hotels based upon availability when necessary. Sightseeing and entrance fees are included as per itinerary. Individual passengers and passengers arriving independently from a scheduled group are responsible for their own transfers.

Not Included

Gratuities, airport taxes and transfers (unless specifically included in certain group tours), optional tours, charges for passports, vaccinations and inoculations, excess baggage charges, accident, trip cancellation and baggage insurance, telephone and cable charges, laundry, meals not specified in the itinerary, liquor, items of a personal nature and any items not specifically listed as included.

Cancellation Penalties

All cancellations must be in writing

  • Up to 100 days prior to departure date $75.00 cancellation fee
  • From 99-61 days prior to departure date $250.00 cancellation fee
  • From 60-46 days prior to departure date $350.00 cancellation fee
  • From 45 days prior to departure date and on – full cancellation fee (100%)

Passports/Visa

You will be required to provide Coral Travel & Tours with a copy of your passport with final payment. Please Note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date not less than 6 months after your date of arrival in Israel. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the United States traveling to Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. For other destinations please contact Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. Coral Travel & Tours does NOT process visa applications. No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel. Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.

Fuel Surcharge

Please note fuel surcharges are set by the airline and Coral Travel & Tours has no control over nor receives advance notice of changes. Due to fluctuating global oil prices, the fee may change. The airline will only guarantee the fee at time of ticketing. If the airline imposes an increase, the difference will be the responsibility of each traveler and will be collected prior to departure.

Insurance Note

Travel Insurance is Highly recommended, See attached information. The Exclusion for Pre – Existing Condition will be waived i9f premium is received at the time of orwithin 14 days of the initial deposit/payment for the trip. Baggage

Suitcases: 1 per person, not to exceed 50 lbs. for 1 bag. Each can measure up to 62 linear inches (length + height + width). Carry On Luggage: 1 per person, not to exceed 11 lbs. Each can measure up to 45 linear inches (length + height + width).

Deviations

Any change in the basic program will result in the charge of $150 per change per person plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.
